The Beginning.....

This year our Project Approach is about animals that hatch from eggs and we are focusing on Birds, what they eat, their habitats, birds that fly/don't fly and other birds attributes and related facts.
After reading a story about birds...Children will share what they know about them and draw it on their science journals... Later, we will explore pictures, more books and write and learn about the Bird's World. Our families will be invited to participate through volunteering in our Bird's related field trips, by sharing pictures of birds and by assisting their children in creating a final project. This promises to be a very fun project and a very fun semester, Can't wait to start... updates and pictures coming soon!
